SCA Tissue, a leading global hygiene and forest-products company with manufacturing operations in Neenah and Menasha, is marking the 10-year anniversary of the Xpressnap napkin dispenser system. Xpressnap is the one-at-a-time dispenser that can dramatically cut napkin waste. Since 2003, Xpressnap's 100 percent recycled and certified compostable napkins have diverted more than a half billion pounds of recycled paper from landfills. Orchard Country Winery & Market of Fish Creek received silver medals for its Lauren Elizabeth, Pear, Black Cherry and Cherry Blossom wines from the Tasters Guild International Wine Competition. This year's competition had more than 2,000 entries from 10 countries and 27 states. The Port of Green Bay has earned an Award of Excellence for its 2012 Communication Plan by the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA), a trade association representing leading port authorities throughout the Western Hemisphere. Twenty-six seaports were recognized by the annual Communications Awards program. Ports from across the United States submitted award nominations in 15 classifications.
