News & World Report ranked UW-Green Bay, UW-Oshkosh, and Marian University among 2013 "Best Colleges" within U.S. Regional University Midwest Rankings; 2013. Our Region is Creating New Jobs M ercury Marine is investing more than $20 million to expand testing facilities and equipment at its global headquarters in Fond du Lac. C on-way Freight, subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), announced a major investment in Fond du Lac with plans to build a new freight service center. G reen Bay Packaging Inc. is retaining its workforce of 280, planning a $95 million expansion. Jagemann Stamping of Manitowoc will add 100 new workers over next 18 months with a $20 million upgrade to its facilities. W S Packaging of Green Bay is investing more than $7.9 million to expand its operation and create 20 new full-time positions. A lta Resources of Neenah hired 643 last year, now employs more than 1,249 locally and plans to add as many as 500 more jobs in 2013. N orth American Finishing is nearing completion of the first stages of a planned $27 million investment. M arinette Marine Corporation received approval of funding by the U.S. Navy for the construction of two more littoral combat ships (LCS). F aith Technologies of Menasha, which employs 1,500, in April announced it was seeking to expand its workforce by 250. H umana Inc. of Brown County is adding 75 customer-care jobs to its full-time workforce in the Green Bay area. 4 N e w n o r t h , i n c. G ulfstream Aerospace Corp. of Appleton will increase employment by approximately 100 positions in 2013. A cuity of Sheboygan has reached $1 billion in revenue as of spring 2013, quadrupling its annual written premium revenue since 1999.
