Russ Wanke, president and chief executive officer of Expera specialty solutions of Kaukauna, was named 2014 Paper Industry Management Association Executive of the Year. e award is PIMA's highest honor and is awarded to senior-level executives in the pulp, paper or converting industries for excellence in management and outstanding contributions to the industry as a whole. Daniel Kohler was hired as executive vice president of operations at school specialty Inc. in greenville. Kohler is responsible for overseeing manufacturing, distribution and supply chain management. Rick Smith was hired as director of distribution center operations at school specialty. smith is responsible for overseeing the company's Mansfield, Ohio, distribution center. Marcus Knuth was hired as vice president-enterprise technology at Acuity of sheboygan. Knuth previously worked as Acuity's unit supervisor in services, procedures analyst and senior procedures analyst. Thomas Hein was hired as senior vice president, project management office manager at Associated Bank in green Bay. Justin Chapman was hired as vice president, digital solutions manager. Jen Burkhardt was hired as director of transportation at WOW Logistics in Appleton. Burkhardt has more than 16 years of logistics experience and operated her own consulting business that helped companies identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs. Janeen Wagner was promoted to deposit operations officer at Choice Bank in Oshkosh. Wagner has 19 years of experience in the banking industry. Maggie Doyle was promoted to human resources officer at Choice Bank in Oshkosh. Doyle began working at Choice Bank in 2009. Drew Winegar was hired as auto liability claims manager at Integrity Insurance in Appleton. he has nine years of claims experience. Debbie Jacques was hired as account executive for the green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce's member services team. Jacques worked as a marketing consultant for Midwest Communications and as a sales manager for WJLW Broadcasting. Tom Pennings was hired as vice president of business banking at e Business Bank in Appleton. Pennings has 23 years of banking experience. e Wisconsin timber Rattlers hired Brittany Ezze in the group sales department. Ezze previously worked as an intern with special Olympics, the Lansing Lugnuts and the Lakeland Flying tigers. Jake Hannes was hired as head groundskeeper. hannes interned with the timber Rattlers' and the Milwaukee Brewers grounds crews. Aaron Johnson was hired as stadium operations manager at neuroscience group Field of Fox Cities stadium. Johnson interned with the stadium operations and grounds crew for the Fort Wayne tinCaps of the Midwest League in 2013. Emily Sommers was hired in the group sales department. sommers previously interned with the green Bay Blizzard, worked at the 2010 PgA Championship at Whistling straits and was a gameday Ambassador with the green Bay Packers.
