{people} Schmidt Trimberger Children's Museum named Bobbie Schmidt as its new executive director and promoted Kristen Trimberger to associate executive director. Schmidt is a former Wisconsin Elementary Principal of the Year and was also recognized in 2010 as a National Elementary School Principal of the Year. Trimberger joined The Building for Kids in 2011 as director of education and family learning. She'll continue in that role along with her new duties. Epiphany Law, LLC, added attorney Patrick Furman to its staff of lawyers. Furman owned a private practice for more than eight years, and has practiced law for 15. He specializes in estate planning. Kathryn M. Blom was recently named the first partner at Epiphany Law in Appleton, which is owned by Kevin Eismann. Blom has been with the firm since 2007. Ledgeview Partners, a customer relationship management firm in Appleton, added Jane Frantz as marketing manager and Jean Degener as an inside sales account manager. Bank First, a subsidiary of First Manitowoc Bancorp, Inc. announced the promotion of two bank officers: Max Scheuer, Watch Blom Frantz business banking officer; and John Mueller, assistant vice president/relationship manager. Kohler Co. announced the appointment of Michael Belot as general manager of Destination Kohler. Belot previously worked with the PGA of America where he most recently was director of the 2012 Ryder Cup at Medinah Country Club in Chicago. Belot served as a consultant for Super Bowls XLV and XLVI and was pre-game talent producer for the recent Super Bowl XLVII. Kohler's hospitality group also announced the promotion of Christine Loose to director of hotels – The American Club Resort Hotel and Inn on Woodlake; and the promotion of Chef Anette Rose Righi to Kohler Original Recipe Chocolates lead chocolatier. Secura Insurance promoted David Schlichting to vice president-farm and agribusiness underwriting. He has more than 16 years of insurance industry experience. Bela Lanczy joined ChemDesign as manager of commercial development. Arketype announced it has hired Amy Soquet as the agency's internal account/traffic manager. Soquet previously Degener Scheuer worked for Shopko as an advertising manager. Drew Poggemann is the new director of technology with Avastone Technologies. Poggemann has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Laura Dowdy joined The Paper Discovery Center in Appleton as education coordinator. Attorney James L. Cummings of the Remley & Sensenbrenner Law Firm in Neenah was included in the 2012 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the trusts and estates category. Schenck announced several additions to the firm, including Tyler Carlson, M&A analyst; Alicia Trantow, senior accountant; and Amy Neveau, administrative assistant in the government and not-for-profit department. Kit Kraabel is the new regional sales executive with Fox Valley Metrology Group in Oshkosh. He most recently was regional sales manager with LS Starrett Co., a manufacturer of precision tools and saw blade products.
