in foc us on the move Neufelder Calhoun Ransom Herzfeldt Rai Merrill Olson Serrill {people} Ministry Health Care named Daniel Neufelder as the senior vice president of hospital operations for Ministry���s 15 hospitals in Wisconsin, including St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh and Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. Neufelder joined Affinity Health System as CEO and president in 2006. In 2012, Ministry took over Affinity. Ministry also named William Calhoun as the eastern region vice president in addition to his current role of president at Mercy Medical Center. Network Health of Menasha promoted Penny Ransom to chief administrative officer. She joined Network two years ago as vice president of marketing. She later became vice president of strategic planning and brand management. In the past year, Ransom assumed responsibilities in the areas of human resources, organization development and culture. Prior to joining Network Health, Ransom served as director of communications at Health Alliance Medical Plans in Urbana, Ill. ThedaCare promoted Shana Herzfeldt and Patsy Engel to directors of operations for its Fox Cities hospitals and transitions of care divisions. Herzfeldt and Engel will create models and teams to improve and spread accomplishments with the Fox Cities hospital division, which includes Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Since joining ThedaCare 11 years ago, Engel held several roles including coordinating disease management programs at Touchpoint Health Plan. Herzfeldt joined ThedaCare nine 44 | Insight ��� M a r c h 2 013 years ago as a registered nurse at Appleton Medical Center. During the past year, she also took a leadership role in ThedaCare���s Collaborative Care Spread and the Inpatient Value Stream. Dr. Ashok Rai, president and chief executive officer of Prevea Health Services in Green Bay, was named to the American Medical Group Association���s Board of Directors. Colleen Merrill is the new director of the UW-Oshkosh Small Business Development Center. She received both her undergraduate and master of business degrees from UWOshkosh. Moraine Park Technical College Civil Engineering/ Structural instructor Jim Olson received the Revit Architecture 2013 Certified Professional certification. Pam Serrill, a certified public accountant, joined Hjortness & Associates CPAs in Menasha. She has more than 20 years of experience in individual, estate and business taxation. Morna Foy is the new president of the Wisconsin Technical College System. She has been executive assistant and vice president of policy and government relations for the WTCS since 2005. Cooperative Resources International (CRI), an agricultural holding cooperative in Shawano, has updated its structure, creating a new senior management team. Pete Giacomini, who served as chief operating officer of CRI subsidiary AgSource Cooperative, will lead CRI���s new business development division; Larry Romuald will add overseeing information technology to his current role as CRI chief financial officer and vice president of finance; and Ron Schmalz will oversee the new human resources division. The Rotary Foundation of Green Bay Inc. recently named its officers for 2013: president ��� Tom Hamilton; vice president ��� May Kay Orr; secretary ��� Mary Dennisen; and treasurer ��� Steve Batterman. Melissa Mislinski was promoted to trust administrator with Fiduciary Partners of Appleton. She has been with the company for four years. Fiduciary Partners also hired Danielle Picard as vice president. She brings 12 years of legal experience to her new position, including six years in trust administration. The National Association of Professional Women elected Cherie Lindberg, owner of Get Connected Counseling LLC in Appleton, as its woman of the year. Jennifer Breining and Amber Hamilton joined The Paper Discovery Center in Appleton as staff educators. Breining has a degree in chemistry and did graduate work in paper science at the Institute of Paper Chemistry. She also worked in the research department at Kimberly-Clark Corp. Hamilton has a degree in environmental education and worked as an educator at Brillion Nature Center and Mosquito Hill Nature Center in New London before joining The Paper Discovery Center.
