PAi (Plan Administrators, Inc.) in De Pere recently received a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award. This is the firm's seventh award in the past eight years. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, which has its operational headquarters in Appleton, and SCA, a global hygiene and forest products company with operations in Neenah and Menasha, were both named to the Ethisphere's listing of the 2013 World's Most Ethical Companies. The Financial Wellness Center at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton received a 2012 Wisconsin Financial Literacy Award. The Financial Wellness Center was one of 21 recipients of the award, which was given by the Governor's Council on Financial Literacy. The Financial Wellness Center is a unique collaboration that was created by several partners – Fox Valley Technical College and its Foundation, Goodwill Industries/FISC, and a strong, active commitment from Community First Credit Union. Its goal was to provide personal financial assistance to adult students who are seeking to re-enter the workforce after losing jobs. The result is an innovative model designed to serve the needs of individuals in financial transition. Renew Physical Therapy recently joined the Advance Business & Manufacturing Center in Green Bay. The business is owned by Shawn Jackson. Wisconsin Bank & Trust in Green Bay, through its parent company, Heartland Financial USA Inc., has been named a Forbes Best Bank 2013.
