Larger bills are paid more quickly when services and fees are clear upfront. ���We���re really like Mastercard or Visa for health care,��� he says. ���Both the insurer and the provider get paid in full. That���s really our secret sauce.��� The process is no different than retailers being paid instantly with the swipe of a credit card, he adds. Fulkerson says the majority of bills can be processed within 20 days, much faster than the typical fourmonth billing cycle and much less expensive.
