YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Nurturing the potential of every child and teen Giving Kids a Canvas for Character and Creativity We might be best known for coaching kids in sports and swimming, but at the Y, that's just the beginning. For generations, we have provided a safe and positive environment for kids to let their individual talents shine, as well as work as a team. This starts at infancy with our parent-child curriculum and continues through the teen years with a variety of programs designed to help kids discover the skills and hobbies that suit them best. From baby and toddler art classes, 8-year olds learning tap and teens volunteering on behalf of our Leaders Club, there is truly something for everyone at the Y. HEALTHY LIVING Improving the nation's health and well-being Whether it's learning a second language or developing strength and stamina with Pilates conditioning, the Y offers classes and programs to match every interest and skill level. We also feature a variety of family events throughout the year that are perfect opportunities for strengthening parent-child relationships and a daily calendar of activities to keep older adults moving.
