Julie Ujazdowski was hired as the Fox Communities Credit Union consumer loan officer in Appleton. She has more than 15 years of lending experience. The Daily Reporter of Milwaukee chose Dave Schaetz, director of conceptual estimating for Miron Construction Co. Inc., for a lifetime achievement award as part of its 2013 Newsmakers of the Year awards program. Wisconsin Employee Benefits Advisors selected Chris Hanson, an Appleton-based health insurance consultant and agent, to the Independent Insurance Agents of Wisconsin Board of Directors. Hanson has more than 25 years in health care and health care insurance. Katie McCarty is the new owner of Erika's Bridal Couture in Neenah. She has a master's degree in accounting from UW-Madison. Erica Dakins was hired as social media and marketing specialist for Lamers Bus Lines. Dakins has experience in social media and public communications with Kaukauna Area School District. Zack Pawlosky, president of Candeo Creative marketing agency, received the Propel Young Professional Award for making a difference in the Oshkosh community by starting his own marketing agency at age 20 while attending UW-Oshkosh and working another part-time job. He also serves on the Propel Oshkosh steering committee. Matt McGregor was hired as a project manager at Hoffman Planning, Design & Construction Inc. in Appleton. McGregor has six years of industry experience including a previous stint as an assistant field superintendent with Hoffman. Hoffman Senior Project Designer Catherine Cruickshank and Project Architect Julie Heiberger presented at the Resource Center for Religious Institutes National Conference in Anaheim, Calif. Mary Ellen Gillespie was hired as UW-Green Bay's new director of intercollegiate athletics. Mandi Kohlmetz was hired as an Ad Quest Promotions, Inc. account executive with 20 years of experience in integrated marketing communications, as a non-profit independent consultant and as a private college instructor. Recipients of the Current Young Professionals' Spirit of Current Award are: WLUK FOX 11/WCWF CW 14, Jackie Oliver and Jeanne Agneessens. The Wisconsin Chapter of Meeting Professionals International announced that Carina Wilz of Fox Valley Technical College received the Kristin Bjurstrom Krueger, CMP Scholarship. Hungry?
