workforce training launched a new RN to Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, which is designed for nurses with an associate degree in nursing who want to earn an advanced nursing degree. The courses are offered through a flexible e-learning format to accommodate a full-time work schedule. "We feel pretty good here at Concordia because of our e-learning program," Kaul says. UW-Green Bay is offering a new online, distance education Master of Science in Nursing degree with an emphasis in leadership and management in health systems. The program grew following the Institute of Medicine report. "Their goals included things like working on methodologies to reduce cost and health care and improve patient satisfaction," Reilly says.
