14 I N D E V E L O P M E N T 2 0 1 6 T he city of Kewaunee and the Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation are soliciting proposals to develop 3.5 acres of waterfront property between the Kewaunee Harbor wall and Ellis Street. Located in the heart of the city's business district, the parcel is vacant but served by all utilities. The city is making this publicly-owned parcel available concurrent with the implementation of the renovation of Kewaunee Harbor. During 2016, the city of Kewaunee will invest more than $4.2 million in the Kewaunee Harbor. This project will install a new harbor wall and boardwalk along the northerly boundary of the property, all at no expense to the successful developer. Located across the street from the Fives Group, the site is already zoned for industrial manufacturing and can be further subdivided. More than 23,000 vehicles pass the site on a daily basis.
