The development plans specify a 10-acre public plaza at the center of the development with year-round programming. Initial tenants included Kohler Co., Hinterland Brewery and Bellin Health. Work will begin this year with the first phases expected to be complete in 2017. 'Retail Outlook: A Rosy Picture for Northeast Wisconsin' A self-proclaimed "retail guy," Koepsel will put the Northeast Wisconsin development climate in perspective with the state and the country, offering insight into what makes this area unique and how developers can take advantage of opportunities in the works here. Titletown District: Winning Opportunities With the development of the 34-acre, mixed-use commercial district underway just west of Lambeau Field, a year-round destination is expected to boost tourism to Green Bay in a big way. Representatives of the Packers leadership team will share their plans, vision and discuss opportunities for developers in and around the new Titletown District. Completion for the first phase of the project is fall 2017. 'Creativity, Changes and Expectations in the New Economy' What are society's expectations for today and the future? How are communities like Appleton being proactive about attracting a creative class? Representing our InDevelopment host city, Appleton Mayor Tim Hanna will discuss walk-ability, reinvigorating the waterfront — and connecting it to downtown — along with insight on how national trends are in play within the region.
