Unilever's decision to incorporate CNG into its logistics network was led by recommendations from BreakthroughFuel, a Green Bay- based supply chain management and transportation advisory firm. With the addition of the St. Louis area location, U.S. Gain continues to work towards its goal of having more than 100 GAIN Clean Fuel stations in operation through North America within the next two years. MANUFACTURERS RECOGNIZED BY GREATER GREEN BAY CHAMBER The Greater Green Bay Chamber recognized manufacturers during its 2015 Business Recognition Luncheon and Showcase in June. Northern Electric Inc. was presented with the Cornerstone Award, which recognizes a company that takes an active role in the business community and demonstrated growth since its inception. Great Lakes Calcium Corp. was recognized with the Growth Award. Mark Kaiser, president of Lindquist Machine Corp. in Green Bay, was named Business Person of the Year. FVTC PRINTING STUDENTS PLACE AT NATIONAL COMPETITION Students in Fox Valley Technical College's Printing Technologies program earned a bronze medal at the 2015 national Flexographic Technical Association's Excellence in Flexographic awards competitions. The winning entry was a decorative Christmas wrapping paper design. Students involved were Tyler Tennessen, Claire Schuster, James King and Collin Tecca under the direction of instructor Scott Gehrt. The FTA, chartered in 1958, is a professional society of the flexographic printing community. Additionally, two business students from FVTC earned first-place finishes at the DECA International Career Development Conference.
