WMEP TOPS $3 BILLION IN ECONOMIC IMPACT Services provided by the Madison- based Wisconsin Manufacturing Extension Partnership since its inception in 1998 have triggered $3.1 billion in economic impact. "Crossing the $3 billion milestone is a tribute to more than 15 years of focus on aligning multiple organizations' talents and energy to make the Wisconsin manufacturing environment the best in the world," says Buckley Brinkman, the organization's executive director and chief executive officer. The WMEP, a private, non- profit consulting organization, provides services to help small and midsize manufacturers accelerate growth, profitability and global competitiveness. RADDANT ELECTRIC RECEIVES VISION 2017 GRANT Raddant Electric Service, Inc., of Shawano received a Façade/Sign Grant of $2,500 through Shawano Country Vision 2017. The matching grant was awarded to help cover costs to purchase and install a new sign to replace one damaged in a storm and draw attention to the company's generator sales dealership. Raddant Electric Service opened in 1984. Raddant Electric offers remodeling and wiring services and is a dealer for Generac automatic standby generators.
