Regus, an international executive office suites company, opened a 13,000-squarefoot office in Appleton near Highway 41 at College Avenue. The company provides office space, including a business lounge area, for businesses both large and small. 1980s, offering suites and business support to all sizes of businesses. The company offers what it calls "the w w w. i n s i g h t o n b u s i n e s s . c o m workplace of the future," allowing today's busy and well-connected business person to work from an office, their home or via mobile device for a fee much less than a dedicated office. Rates vary by size, term of lease and options selected. Murphy agrees. "My staff of 12 works outside the office, and a suite best fits our business needs," she says. "The Regus staff is very accommodating to help ensure our business needs are met." It's also ideal for start-up companies that may not have the capital needed to fully outfit and staff an office. "We can provide them with alternatives," Barnes says. On the web www.regus.com "The goal is allowing people and businesses to work how they want to work and when they want to work," Barnes says. "We are not a one-sizefits-all." With a corporate headquarters in Dallas and 1,700 locations worldwide, Regus' size and buying power allows it to offer clients discounts on items ranging from office supplies and shipping to hotel stays and air travel. The Appleton office is still building momentum after being open only a few months, but Barnes noted that occupancy is around 90 percent for the other Regus locations in Wisconsin.
