2 FROM OUR CEO PROFILE Jim Kotek President and Chief Executive Officer Menasha Corporation As I prepare this letter, the unparalleled global COVID-19 crisis is gripping our nation and our world. The challenges we face require all of us—employees, customers, suppliers, and communities—to work together to uphold health and safety in our businesses and neighborhoods and to help revitalize the economy. Amidst these efforts, important sustainability and corporate responsibility opportunities remain. In this Corporate Social Responsibility Report, we share our response and actions to the pandemic as well as the progress we made in 2019 and through May of this year on our economic, environmental, and social endeavors. OUR KEY PRIORITIES First and foremost, our company's resiliency and strength during this challenging time has been defined by the commitment and actions of our people. I am tremendously proud of how our 10,000-plus employees and contract workers stepped up with urgency to implement and practice enhanced safety protocols in our facilities and to advance solutions for our customers that are experiencing their own set of challenges and needs. Our employees' drive, dedication, and agility around these efforts continue today. As the situation around the pandemic has evolved, Menasha Corporation's focus has been and continues to be on three key priorities: the safety and wellbeing of our workforce; serving the changing needs of our customers; and managing the company for the long term. SAFETY AND WELLBEING OF OUR WORKFORCE Prior to the pandemic, Menasha Corporation's safety record and our employee programs achieved success in putting people first (pages 24-25). Since the pandemic, our collaborative and structured approach helps to ensure that safety remains our number one priority.
