TIDI Products announces waste reduction plan TIDI Products, a Neenah-based manufacturer of single-use infection prevention products for medical and dental markets, has launched Zero Waste Initiative, a program for reducing waste in its manufacturing plants through repurposing, recycling and energy consumption reduction. The program, started in October 2012, has eliminated 97 percent of solid waste, translating into saving 146 tons of material. In addition, it's estimated that TIDI will reduce energy consumption by 1.44M kilowatt hours per year by using more energy-efficient systems and being more aware of energy waste. Improvements include variable speed air compressors, plant lighting upgrades and adding light sensors to the offices and warehouse.
