Welcome to ENP2016 At First Business, we developed a particular affinity for working with nonprofit organizations. We understand the challenges involved: multiple audiences, multiple objectives, and limited budgets. But we have also seen how exciting the results can be. With that in mind, Enterprising NONPROFITS was started in 2014, in collaboration with the Volunteer Center and Insight Publications, and has proven to be a significant educational resource for our nonprofits and the communities they serve. This year, with Enterprising NONPROFITS 2016, we look to provide a full day of programming for nonprofit staff, board members and volunteers seeking to expand their skills in these critical areas: • Nonprofit Finance Accountability • Leadership and Recruitment • Designing Nonprofit Programs • Community Impact (Advocacy) In our third year, it is our hope to provide a platform to exchange ideas and improve understanding of the most promising and critically important practices which provide financial security and sustainability in our Nonprofit Community economy. We are PROUD to work with PEOPLE who work for CHANGE. Denee Mott Vice President, First Business Bank Mission of Enterprising NONPROFITS This all-day interactive conference allows for-profit and nonprofit business leaders, executives, directors, business development directors and volunteer coordinators to collaborate and share best practices. We're pleased to host the third annual event this spring at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton, WI. One of the things we noticed coming out of the recession was that although the nonprofit community did an amazing job at responding to the challenging economic conditions, there seemed to be the need for a consistent forum for nonprofits to connect, collaborate, and communicate with other nonprofit partners across the region. Because of this need, Enterprising NONPROFITS was launched with the collaboration of the Volunteer Center and Insight Publications.
