Unfortunately, the window and glass work could not be saved in the original form during the renovation of the 100-year-old building. But O'Connor was not about to let the eye-catching feature fade into history. With a little restoration work and a solid wall for anchoring, the iconic windows have found a new home as art in one of the company's creative common areas. Founded in 2013, O'Connor Connective is a strategy and marketing communications company working with senior leadership for a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors. e company purchased its current home at 355 Main Ave. in late 2014 and completed a six-month renovation in May 2015 (see more in economic development on page 38). e renovation included the removal of more than 10 Dumpsters filled with construction debris to expose the original brick and 20-foot wood beams. — Sean P.
