he The NEW Manufacturing Alliance will host the Excellence
in Manufacturing/K-12 Partnerships Awards on Oct. 21
at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay. The alliance is
accepting nominations through June 15 in six categories for K-12
schools and educators:
• Career Pathmaker-Tech Ed Teacher
• Career Pathmaker-Administrator
• Career Pathmaker-Educator
• Brighter Image-Education
• Education Innovation
• Manufacturing Partnership
The alliance also seeks nominations in six categories for
manufacturers:
• Leadership
• Youth Apprenticeship
• Educational Partnership
• Brighter Image
• Visionary
• Manufacturing Innovation
Additionally, the alliance seeks nominations for an individual or
community organization that has contributed to manufacturing
career exploration, for the Community Partnership Award. The
nomination form can be found at www.newmfgalliance.org. The
awards dinner will be held on the evening following the opening
of the fifth annual Manufacturing First Expo & Conference, which
this year will be a two-day event on Oct. 21-22.
