"GAMMA+ has gone global and we can tell it's getting hit from overseas," Stulo says. "It contains a lot of basic information that is timeless and very helpful." To create the tutorials, FVTC went directly to manufacturers and asked what areas they thought needed coverage, Stulo says. e result is sections on electronics, automation, machine tool, welding and mathematics. "Our staff helped us put the tutorials together and we also went out into the field too," he says. e tutorials cover more than just technical skills, such as how to use a depth micrometer. "We have quite a bit on so skills since we heard from manufacturers that is something that needs to be addressed," Stulo says. "For example, there's one on writing business emails. at's something most people have to do in their jobs, but maybe they never had it addressed anywhere." Most of the information covered is standard and won't change, so the site will be relevant for many years to come, Stulo says. He says additional tutorials may be added as technology changes, but that the bulk of the information will likely stay the same.
