A 24-hour Emergency Shelter program and Transitional Living program are available for adult men and women. These programs include professional case management and supportive programming. In addition, the Community Meal program provides anyone experiencing hunger with a meal 365 days per year from 5pm to 6pm, and 11:30am to 12:30pm on weekends and holidays. »Emergency Shelter Program N.E.W. Curative Rehabilitation is to assist people in achieving their goals for independence. This is accomplished through rehabilitation, work training and supportive services for elderly persons and people in all disability groups, including individuals with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental illness, alcohol and drug abuse, brain injury, Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia. The program provides basic needs of food, clothing and shelter and a variety of other services including, but not limited to, seasonal assistance, transportation, prescription, utility and rental assistance. These services include, but are not limited to, those that offer access to and assistance with housing, legal, health, citizenship or immigration, financial, English education and translation and general education. People from all walks of life are mobilized to volunteer for both on-going positions and short- term projects. This includes working with youth, people with disabilities, seniors, board of directors recruitment, busy working people, corporate volunteer programs, and more.
