BUSINESS & MANUFACTURING CENTER REACHES OCCUPANC Y MILESTONE The Advance Business & Manufacturing Center in Green Bay attained its highest occupancy rate since moving in 2005 from its former location on Potts Avenue to its current location at 2701 Larsen Road. The center now has 70 percent occupancy, based on 96 percent occupancy of the 44 individual offices and 58 percent occupancy of the industrial bays, housing 37 companies with 98 employees. The economic impact on Brown County as of June 2014 showed that incubator clients employed 89 people with an annual payroll of $4.18 million. Incubator graduates employed 857 people and had an annual payroll amount of $37.3 million. NWTC EARNS NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR STUDENT SUCCESS OUTCOMES Achieving the Dream, Inc., a national nonprofit dedicated to helping community college students earn a college certificate or degree, announced Northeast Wisconsin Technical College is one of 16 community colleges selected for the 2014 cohort of Achieving the Dream Leader Colleges — a national designation awarded to community colleges that commit to improving student success and closing achievement gaps. NWTC improved the completion rates for all students receiving a 'C' or better in their courses from 77.4 percent in 2009-10 to 81.7 percent in 2012-13. It increased the number of English Language Learner students transitioning to a degree or diploma program from 21 students in 2012-13 to 77 students in 2013-14.
