WPI has worked with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College to customize a Leadership Training program targeted at generating new leaders from our floor operators. A significant contributing factor to alignment is learning how to be comfortable communicating across not only an ethnically diverse team, but also across a diverse mixture of personalities. Another big contributor is the concept of "Message Sent, Message Received" to show that a process has been completed, which helps keep the entire team in alignment and going the same direction. Actively working with the employees to feel and be part of the WPI team and continued success has been a major emphasis for the past two years. e landing of a new customer, successful product launches or a new product design are all milestones announced to the entire workforce. At WPI, a special tone is played over the PA system and the employees are encouraged to cheer and yell, much as you would hear at a sporting event. e more we engage our employees in what they are making, the better the alignment becomes. Another step is staying in tune with our equipment and technology partners. WPI has selected equipment manufacturers that assist in providing the technical advantages needed in the manufacturing process. Successful equipment partners focus on one thing: Keeping our employees properly trained in the ever-changing world of technology. We've adopted a culture of blending standard manufacturing processes with our technical design capability to provide manufacturing solutions targeted at exceeding customer expectations. At WPI, keeping our management, employees and technology partners all looking and moving the same direction is not only a strategy, but a necessity. 920.810.4617 excaliburedge.com Accelerate your pursuit of business excellence The Edge You Need to Succeed.
