For the business golfer spending the day out of the office, the time can be critical to cementing a new relationship or rewarding a longtime client. "I don't know that a lot of work gets done, but it is a great opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with a captive audience," says Marilyn heim, special events manager at the green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, who plans the group's annual golf outing each June. "It's perfect for networking and making connections." heim says it's also a great way to reward valuable clients. "It's a chance to get out, play golf and have some fun," she says.
