Wall enterprises of Madison, will be built on the corner of Washington and Main streets in downtown green Bay by March 2015. e 76-unit facility will include two- story lo penthouses, abundant green space and 7,000 square feet of retail space. e apartments will have several brick colors, balconies with metal details and architectural stone accents on the building's base. Jeff Mirkes, executive director of Downtown green Bay Inc. and olde Main street Inc., says that during the past few months developers have been responding to the scenario of significant demand and limited supply of downtown residential units. Based on a survey Downtown green Bay Inc. conducted on the waterfront residential area, about 310 residential units are occupied. is is an example of how important the Fox river is to the area, especially CityDeck area residents, Mirkes says. "is project will be located in close proximity to three excellent Farmers' Markets: the saturday morning market, the Wednesday Broadway market and the Winter Farmers' Market at KI," Mirkes says. In the future, CityDeck Landing will also be surrounded by new retail businesses along Washington street. "It's an opportunity for retailers to connect with the 500-plus schreiber employees across the street and the 150-plus residential tenants in that building," Mirkes says, referring to the new schreiber Foods corporate office under construction.
