12 N E W M A N U F A C T U R I N G A L L I A N C E J aclyn was working as a process support technical writer when she was named an All Star in 2012. For a time, she worked in a manufacturing training support role, and one year ago she was promoted to the position of sales and marketing project manager. Jaclyn finished her bachelor's degree in liberal studies, organizational administration from the University of Wisconsin- Oshkosh in 2015. W hen he was named an All Star in 2010, Jamie was a Class-A machinist. Today, he is a production supervisor at CMD. Jamie has had several promotions over the years. His responsibilities now include scheduling work and manpower to get jobs completed. He is also working on developing CMD's internal fabrication capabilities, including the updating of aging equipment. Jamie works with other individuals at CMD to refine lean practices and implement continuous improvement efforts throughout the shop. Jaclyn Novak, Rockline Industries Jamie Boylan, CMD Corporation Manufacturing All Stars represent a pool of talent that's going places. 11 years of Each year since 2009, the All Stars magazine has highlighted young, talented individuals who work in manufacturing, as well as mentors who inspire them. The NEW Manufacturing Alliance surveyed companies that have nominated All Stars and found that 10 out of 11 featured on the All Stars covers are still working for the same company. Many have been promoted. Others have advanced their education or become leaders in their companies. Featured here are just a few of the 132 All Star winners who have enjoyed success in their work.
