3 HOW WE ACCOMPLISH IT. our 2017 partners. thank you. we're all better - together. STRATEGIES FUNDING MODEL Prevent people in episodic crisis from developing a chronic need. Support long-term solutions to move people out of poverty. Assist those with limited capacity to maintain a stable and dignified quality of life. Broaden impact and increase effectiveness via collaboration. Families meet their basic needs, build financial resources and become self-sufficient. Children, youth, and young adults are healthy, safe and ready to succeed in school and in life. Individuals affected by aging and dementia have support that allows them to age with dignity. Under-insured sustain a higher quality of life by reducing acute and long-term care crises. 100% of every donation goes to the U.S. Venture Fund for Basic Needs established at community foundations in the region. 10% of the fund balance is made available to grant out annually through the efforts of volunteer grant teams working with community foundations. The total grant making match is equal to $1.4M from the J. J. Keller Foundation, Oshkosh Corporation, ThedaCare and the Rhoades Foundation.
