Spotlight on Manufacturers 2012 Manufacturing First Expo & Conference draws more than 500
The KI Conference Center in Green Bay was packed with action on Sept. 26 during the second annual Manufacturing First Expo & Conference. More than 500 manufacturers and industry professionals gathered to hear about national and regional trends, share best practices and network. New this year: Students from area schools visited exhibits and heard presentations on opportunities in manufacturing careers. First Business Bank presented the event in partnership with the NEW Manufacturing Alliance and Insight Publications LLC. On the eve of the conference, the NEW Manufacturing Alliance hosted its first annual awards dinner, also at the KI Center. Companies that exemplify industry-education partnerships were lauded and winners of the 2013 All Stars were named.
