"Our goal right now is to make people aware of how
much our new site can do and to utilize the tools that were
developed on there," says Jessica Casperson, director of
marketing and investor relations for New North. "is page
can also be used for the trailing spouse or partner. If a family
is relocating because someone got a new job, the spouse and
children will be affected by this and the page offers resources
for them to use when they make the decision to relocate here."
Even though the website and its functions are getting
great reviews from HR professionals, Harvey says the team
is not stopping there.
"Right now we want to get more people involved with
using the tools, especially the 'Life in the New North' section,"
she says. "But we are continually assessing what we have and
ask ourselves how we can make it better and that will help
with the overall success of the website."
e Life in the New North tab was a product of a two-year
digital branding effort and over the past year, Casperson says
more effort has been made into designing and perfecting the
functionality of this tool.
DeKoch also says the recently designed website allows
users of any platform, including mobile, to easily navigate and
find information regarding the region and what it has to offer.
"is is the third new look the website has experienced
and we wanted to make it pertinent to both users in the
region and outside of the region," DeKoch says.
Rigorous. Transformative. Remarkably affordable.
