LOCAL RESOURCE CONTINUING EDUCATION The Volunteer Center's mission is to promote the values of the Fox Valley community through volunteerism. The center advances civic responsibility as well as individual values such as growth, learning, health, wellness, and pride by connecting those in need with those who are willing to give. Enterprising NONPROFITS supports that mission, and we are very proud to be a part of this exciting and innovative effort. We have added a track within the conference day for an orientation /training of new board members at your nonprofit. It is also a refresher course for those who have been on a board and want to learn how to better engage to make a difference. This is great for smaller nonprofits that want to offer this training to their entire board of directors. Our Volunteer Center is part of a network in Wisconsin that works to connect, educate, impact and inspire our communities into action. We look forward to continuing to assist nonprofit partners in building capacity for effective local nonprofit programs throughout the year. Enterprising NONPROFITS is an outstanding initiative and the Volunteer Center is pleased to be a part of it. Nonprofits can list their board and committee volunteer needs at www.volunteercenter.net. The Volunteer Center's 'Get Connected' tool allows volunteers to find those organizations that are in need of their leadership skills. We invite you to take advantage of this effective tool and thank you for joining us at Enterprising NONPROFITS 2016.
