expansion in 2005. Once this project is complete, the building will be more than 100,000-square-feet. The project is expected to be complete by the end of August. BELGIOIOSO CHEESE EXPANDS The Green Bay-based BelGioioso Cheese will build a new facility next to its factory in Chase, near Pulaski. The project is estimated at $15 million and will double the workforce at the current site. The 160,000-square-foot facility will be built north of the current facility in the Town of Chase. The new plant will produce Italian table cheeses including Parmesan, Romano and Asiago as well as specialty cheeses. SCEDC LEADER GETS WEDC POST The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation is looking for a new leader after executive director Patrick Drinan accepted a regional account manager position with the new Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. Drinan was at the SCEDC for New Market Tax Credits, distributed by Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority, and use the proceeds to finance a $17.5 million plant expansion. WINSERT RECEIVES TAX CREDITS Winsert Inc. in Marinette is receiving $880,000 in direct tax credits and $19 million in New Market Tax Credits that will create 92 jobs and retain 156 jobs at its plant. The expansion will add 24 to 28 people to the Wisconsin Film & Bag workforce, bringing the total to more than 150. Therma-Tron-X is adding the engineering office space to keep pace with customer demand. A 4,000-square-foot production area recently was completed at Therma- Tron-X.
