opened in late summer 2015, adding much-needed support space to the
historic Meyer eatre in Green Bay, as well as creating a unique event space
in its own right.
Located in the heart of the Broadway District at the corner of Washington
and Walnut streets, Backstage at the Meyer renovated and restored the
former Daily Planet building as a theater banquet space, as well as creating
a floor of office space now occupied by Breakthrough Fuel. It features a full
kitchen and beverage service and is open both before and aer events at
the Meyer.
But it also provides a small, intimate venue for performers, with a stage
and event area that can seat about 400 people. e space is also available
for corporate and private functions. Revenue generated by the Backstage
supports the ongoing operations of the Meyer eatre.
