In this role, Peterson will conduct on-site interviews with corporate leadership to build productive relationships and identify needs, challenges and opportunities associated with doing business in the Fox Cities. Peterson previously worked with local companies such as Pierce Manufacturing, Metso Paper, Plexus and ilmany. e Manitowoc Company, Inc. announced it named current board member Kenneth W. Krueger as interim chairman, president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. e company also recently appointed Timothy J. Fenton, a 41-year veteran of McDonald's Corporation, and Thomas D. Davis, a past president and chief executive officer of Viskase Companies, Inc., to the board of directors of its wholly- owned subsidiary Manitowoc Foodservice, Inc. Manitowoc further announced the appointment of John O. Stewart, former executive vice president, chief financial officer, and chief administrative officer of Hostess Brands, Inc., as chief financial officer of Manitowoc Foodservice, Inc. e young professionals group of the Fond du Lac Association of Commerce announced the winners of its Future 5 and Young Professional of the Year awards during its annual meeting in November. Jenny Knuth, art director for wisnet. com, received the 2015 Young Professional of the Year award. e other four winners of the Future 5 Award include: Jenna Floberg, director and assistant administrator, St. Francis Home/ Agnesian HealthCare; Tony Goebel, owner/benefits advisor, 5Gbenefits/Goebel Insurance & Financial, Inc.; Ryan Haase, human resources manager-talent management, Society Insurance; and Amy Jessen, corporate event planner, Michels Corporation. OMNNI Associates added Gary Kennedy, former highway commissioner of Manitowoc County, to the OMNNI team. Baylake Bank promoted Michelle Sternard to assistant vice president, commercial banking officer. CBS-Global, also known as Creative Business Services, added Shane Gutzman in the role of intermediary. Scott Bushkie, CBI, M&AMI, president and founder of Cornerstone Business Services, was elected as the 2016 president of the International Business Brokers Association. Sargento Foods Inc. announced the promotion of six members of its engineering department: Brian Kaufman, director-production engineering; Bruce Wisnefske, director- continuous improvement engineering; Darrell Abston, senior manager-electrical engineering; Patrick Higgins, manager-continuous improvement engineering; Chris Meyer, director-facilities engineering; and Chay Vue, director-innovation engineering. Sargento also hired Brian Ginn as a sales team leader for the consumer products division. Cherney Microbiological Services, Ltd., promoted Amanda Matczynski to marketing, public relations and community service director. BrownBoots Interactive Inc. hired Mary Christopherson as graphic designer for its creative team. Miguel Cruz and Michaela Paukner have joined Candeo Creative.
