Wet wipes and coffee filters What do you do there? I support maintenance in the areas of troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment repairs and rebuilds. I am also a 5S manager and a content trainer. (5S is a workplace organization technique = Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) How did you decide on this career path? I was working in construction and was laid off because of the economy. My first factory job led me to Rockline through a temp agency. I started in July 2007 as a machine operator in wet wipes. What kind of education and training do you have? What prepared you for this job? I trained for four years as a machine technician in Europe (arriving in the U.S. from Bosnia in 2006). Great-tasting sausage What do you do there? I manage our food safety and quality plans, procedures and paperwork for our ready-to-eat facilities. I also ensure that our members are properly trained in these areas. How did you decide on this career path? I began my journey at Johnsonville Sausage right out of high school, part time through a temp agency. I enjoyed the work and the atmosphere and began working as a full-time member in operations in the packaging department. Eventually, I began a backup role in food safety and quality, then decided that this was definitely the path for me. What kind of education and training do you have? What prepared you for this job?
