The Northeast Wisconsin International Business Network (NEWIBN) and the Lakeshore International
Networking & Knowledge exchange (LINKe) will host a program to focus on global business issues. Join
other local business professionals involved with international trade.
The session begins with an overview of global business in Wisconsin presented by Dean Stewart, Dean of
Corporate Training and Economic Development at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and Katy Sinnot,
vice president of International Business Development at Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).
Legal experts will review various compliance and regulation concerns for exports / imports. Presenters will be Joan
Koenig, Counsel and Randy Rucker, Partner at Drinker Biddle & Reath.
NAFTA Regional Focus will be presented through an informative company panel discussion. The panel will share real
life experiences and address opportunities for Wisconsin manufacturers interested in global expansion. Participants
include Mike Ball, Director of Global Distribution and Logistics at The Vollrath Company, LLC; Alec Streeter, Senior
Customs Compliance Manager at Oshkosh Corp.; and Katy Sinnot of WEDC.
