FIRST 2015
You've made a great choice to attend the fifth annual Manufacturing First Expo
& Conference. For the first time, Manufacturing First will be held over two days,
October 21 and 22, at the newly-expanded KI Convention Center in Green Bay.
With 170 booths and more than 1,000 attendees, this year's event will be by far
the biggest and best to date!
On behalf of First Business, in partnership with the NEW Manufacturing
Alliance and Insight Publications, we're proud to host this event in Northeast
Wisconsin during Manufacturing Month.
Bringing people together with a passion for manufacturing is a natural for us
here, given that one out of four residents in this region are employed in the
industry. It's the backbone of our economy and it's up to us to keep it strong.
On Day 1 of this year's event we'll start at 1:30 p.m. with a focus on issues
of particular interest to those involved in each of four topics: women in
manufacturing, food and beverage, lean manufacturing and exporting. Day
2 — the main event — kicks off with our keynote speaker, Ryan Estis, on "Next
Level Leadership." And, as we went to press, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker
confirmed he will attend and address our audience.
Day 2 will be heavy on the networking and your chance to meet manufacturers
and others in our exhibit hall. Lunch and learn sessions at noon offer five topics
so you can choose an area of specific interest to you.
