Dr. Mark Hallett has been promoted to chief operating officer for Appleton Medical Center and eda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. Hallett, who previously served as chief clinical officer, replaces Maryjeanne Schaffmeyer, who is retiring. Prior to his role as chief clinical officer, Hallett led edaCare Orthopedics Plus and served as edaCare Physicians senior medical director. Breakthrough Fuel hired Elaine Stephens as lead data scientist and Matt Balzola as the global sales director. Miron Construction Co., Inc. named Craig Sachs as director of business innovation. ATW Miller Group announced Wendy Miller, CPA, joined the financial advisory service firm as vice president. e edaCare Center for Healthcare Value promoted long-time faculty member Kim Barnas to president. edaCare also added Joelle Mulroy Cluff, a certified physician assistant, as a hospitalist at Appleton and eda Clark medical centers. Woodward Communications announced Kelly Radandt as general manager of its six-station radio division in the Green Bay- Appleton-Oshkosh markets. e Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Alta Resources Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation announced the winners of its America's Pitch Tank event. Sizzle, an app created by Dan Brosman and Max Zirbel, was selected as the overall winner. Second place went to Devlo, represented by David Mathers and third place was awarded to Princeton Audio, represented by Michael Pelland. Sunshine House Inc. in Sturgeon Bay named Cindy Weber as its new president and CEO. She was previously vice president of resource development with the Door County YMCA. Fox Communities Credit Union re-elected Paul Sippl and elected William Panella and Martin Docter to its board of directors. Anne Wettstein, a consultant at Human Resources Consulting, completed the conflict resolution and mediation program sponsored by e Northeast Wisconsin Alliance for Social Worker and Professional Counseling Continuing Education. New North Inc. named Bill Bohn of Associated Bank and Pete Dulcamara of Kimberly- Clark to its board of directors. e board of directors of Bemis Company Inc. elected Timothy M. Manganello as non-executive chairman of the board, replacing Henry J. Theisen. A director since 2004, Manganello has served as the independent lead director of the board since 2013. e University of Wisconsin- Fox Valley honored two staff members for outstanding service: English professor Will Curl, the Marilee White Instructional Academic Staff award; and Kathy Gilmore, program assistant for financial aid, curriculum and veterans services, the Larry White Classified Staff award.
