We are excited to have Susan Ellis join us as our 2015 keynote speaker. Susan J. Ellis is President of Energize, Inc., a training, consulting, and publishing firm that specializes in volunteerism. She founded the Philadelphia-based company in 1977 and since that time has assisted clients throughout the world (23 countries) to create or strengthen their volunteer corps. She has an international reputation as a passionate advocate for the power of volunteers and those who lead them. Join her as she also leads two more breakout sessions for us today on volunteerism. Susan is the author or co-author of fourteen books, several of which have been translated into Japanese, Taiwanese, French, and Italian. She has written more than 120 articles on volunteer management for dozens of publications; has posted a provocative "Hot Topic" essay on the Energize Web site monthly since 1997; and writes the national bi-monthly column, "On Volunteers," for The NonProfit Times (since 1990). Susan is editor-in-chief of e-Volunteerism: The Electronic Journal of the Volunteer Community, an international quarterly she co-founded in 2000. KEYNOTE Speaker Susan J. Back by popular demand, her energy, passion, and extensive knowledge was enthusiastically called for again and she's here to dive deeper into some of the topics our past attendees requested to learn more about. Vicki has extensive experience as both a nonprofit leader and consultant. Join her as she leads breakout sessions and our afternoon keynote address on communication strategies. Vicki is also leading our new GET ON BOARD sessions on the two days following Enterprising Nonprofits. This opportunity gives small groups the chance to dive deeper into your specific organization and leave you with a great action plan. Vicki's work includes numerous specialty areas, including board development, inclusion and diversity, leadership, strategic planning, program development, volunteer resource development, and effective communication. In her consulting and training practice, Building the Capacity of Organizations, she shares with numerous national organizations and their local affiliates. These organizations include the Association of Junior Leagues International, Interfaith Youth Corps, US Green Building Council, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Prevent Child Abuse America, National CASA, National Council of LaRaza, Literacy USE, United Way of American and the Association of African American Museums.
