NEW MANUFACTURING ALLIANCE CONNECTS JOB SEEKERS, EDUCATORS AND EMPLOYERS
The NEW Manufacturing Alliance (NEWMA) is a group of manufacturers, working with educational institutions, workforce development boards, chambers of commerce and state organizations to promote manufacturing throughout Northeast Wisconsin. The Alliance website (www.newmfgalliance.org) provides an opportunity for manufacturers and job seekers to connect. It also offers information on internships and other resources for job seekers. Job seekers can use the website to
create a profile that companies can use to search for workers, or job seekers can view member websites to learn more about those companies and what the companies have to offer. In addition, they can learn more about career pathways in manufacturing. Manufacturing has always been a mainstay of employment in Northeast
Wisconsin and should remain so as Wisconsin manufacturers upgrade their facilities and processes to meet the needs of 21st Century manufacturing. Manufacturing continues to comprise about one quarter of all jobs in the New North.
