NEW MANUFACTURING ALLIANCE MEMBERS Are there any misconceptions about manufacturing careers? Our society has put too much emphasis on working in an office and not enough in the trades. We need to get young people back to the trades because some are being lost. Why Quin is an All Star Mentor (from Andy Bushmaker, human resource manager): Quin is serving as a mentor to a student we have working here as an intern through the NWTC Career Academy. In addition, Quin readily volunteered for a project to help high school and middle school students understand practical applications for math through videos showing applications in the workplace.
