JOHN KATERS JESS LAMBRECHT Building Your Brand – Growing Your Market Share Beyond Just Marketing presented by Joseph Kromholz, Dan Johnson and Patrick Fleis of Ryan Kromholz & Manion S.C. Growing market share is a cornerstone of a successful business. Doing so successfully goes beyond just marketing to potential clients. Growing market share involves protecting the assets your business has so that: your competitors cannot advertise in a manner which confuses your customers, your competitors cannot make or sell the same products, and your competitors cannot engage in the same activities. In doing so, growing your market share should include trademarks to protect the name, patents to protect your ideas, copyrights to protect how you are communicating to potential customers, and trade secrets to protect ideas from being known. We will discuss trademarks, patents, copyrights and trade secrets and how each is crucial in helping you in growing your market share. ANNE FLINCHUM STEVE LIPOWSKI JOSEPH KROMHOLZ DAN JOHNSON PATRICK FLEIS 12:45 –1:05 p.m. Creative Recruitment and Retention Strategies presented by Julia Johnson of Wipfli Over 80% of Wisconsin employers are struggling to find people, and the shortage is not going to end any time soon. While Wisconsin works hard to attract more workers to the state, it is up to each individual business to own its own recruitment, attraction and retention strategies in order to satisfy current and future demand. Gone are the days when workers would open up the Sunday paper and circle dozens of jobs they would be interested in applying for. Does your current strategy include how to find potential employees on their time and on their platform of choice? Do you know what successful companies are doing to fill their pipelines of potential new employees and keep the ones they have? This presentation will provide examples and ideas for you to take back to your business to help with your own workforce shortage. JULIA JOHNSON PRESENTED BY: | OCTOBER 26 | RESCH EXPO
