The Green- Bay based firm started more than 70 years ago as a tool and die manufacturer, but today manufactures, assembles and installs machines and components for customers worldwide in the digital printing, commercial printing, converting and packaging industries. EMT employs about 150 team members in a wide range of manufacturing fields. Employees include mechanical and electrical assembly; electrical, mechanical, design, and manufacturing engineers; machinists; and technicians. Company leaders say keeping all aspects of the design and production in America builds pride in team members who are able to see products from the idea stage to delivery. In 2010, EMT broke ground on a new 68,000-square-foot corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Hobart. Strong continued growth at EMT International, Inc. led to the significant expansion, which will allow the firm to consolidate all manufacturing, engineering, customer service and assembly operations into one location. "Our expansion and growth is due to the hard work and dedication of our employees. The new building enables us to continue providing the highest level of service to our OEM partners and direct customers," said Paul Rauscher, President of EMT International, Inc. Requirements for employment vary with each position and typically include a high school education, post secondary technical training, associate degree, or bachelor's degree. EMT offers an on-the-job training program and tuition reimbursement to aid in career development. Primarily, EMT looks for individuals who are creative, hard working and able to work in a team setting.
