F O X VA L L E Y M E TA L -T E C H WAS incorporated in October 1989 — 30 years ago — by Steve Corbeille and his two brothers-in-law, John and Ed Cavil. Located in the Green Bay area, the three saw the opportunity to provide custom metal fabrication services for OEMs in the printing and converting industry, packaging industry and custom equipment manufacturers. The company was successful its very first year with a group of very skilled fabricators and a vision of providing exceptional quality and customer service with fair prices. Customers responded with repeat orders and many of them are still customers 30 years later. Fox Valley Metal-Tech invested in state- of-the-art manufacturing equipment that increased both precision and overall quality of fabrications. Fox Valley Metal-Tech has continued to grow over the years adding new customers and reaching outside the Green Bay area. Customers in food service industry, power distribution and controls, and shipbuilding industry increased Fox Valley Metal- Tech's skills and capabilities. In 2005, the company became ISO-9000 certified. The ISO certification added more processes to further ensure customers that quality would be a top priority. In addition to quality, Fox Valley Metal-Tech has focused on safety and company values. Employees' safety and wellness are important at the company. The work environment is clean, environmentally controlled and provides the tools that employees need to perform precision high-quality fabrications. The ISO certification and reputation for skilled welders quickly drew defense industry customers to Fox Valley Metal- Tech. The company experienced a jump in growth starting in 2005, which required additional investments in equipment, including an automated laser cutting system and large machining centers to finish machine fabrications after welding. The parts and fabrications made by Fox Valley Metal-Tech are often critical to the performance of the OEM machines where they're used. They are also a critical part of the systems installed on aircraft carriers, littoral combat ships, destroyers and nuclear submarines. In 2006, President George W. Bush visited Fox Valley Metal-Tech while in the area supporting several politicians. It was an honor to have the president of the United States visit the company. The company has been recognized by both its customers and the industry and has received several awards, including: Supplier of the Year, Manufacturing of Distinction, Outstanding Supplier of the Year Award and multiple safety awards. Fox Valley Metal-Tech has been able to perform at a high-performance level to win awards because of its employees and management team. Multiple employees have been recognized by the NEW Manufacturing Alliance as All Stars and All Star Mentors, including several who have been featured on the cover of the NEWMA All Stars magazine.
