United Way Fox Cities | 2019 5
O
n a beautiful day in June, I headed
out for a day of videotaping for
United Way Fox Cities. Joining me was
the talented crew from Image Studios. Our
assignment was to record the stories of United Way
recipients who had generously consented to tell their
stories of struggles and triumphs in dealing with life's
challenges. We invite you to watch them in our video
United We Care on the United Way Fox Cities website:
unitedwayfoxcities.org/who-we-are/videos.
It takes much courage to tell the world, or at least the
community where you live, that you have survived hard
times. I extend my thanks to Jay, David and Catanya for
sharing their personal stories. We are
grateful to Valley Packaging Industries and
Ann, Abby and Tom for allowing us to be a part
of their busy day and to Bridges Child Enrichment
Center and the six great kids from Miss Katie's class who
gave up their recess time for us in exchange for some
M&Ms. ey all came together to help tell the story of how
United Way Fox Cities makes a difference every day in the
lives of more than 100,000 people in the place we love and
call home.
