Commercial St., Neenah, features an inspiring atmosphere where you can get your stuff done while enjoying fresh, delicious food. e cafeteria-style setup allows you to grab a tray, step up to the counter and order such delights as the warm pear salad ($10.50), a grown-up version of a grilled cheese sandwich served with tomato basil soup for dipping ($7.95), or a homemade lobster bisque ($4.75 for a cup). It also offers delectable desserts, including the to-die-for red velvet cupcakes ($3.50). You receive your food quickly and then find a table. Zuppas is busy during the lunch hour, so arriving at 11:30 a.m. before the line becomes 10-people deep is a must, says Kathy Fredrickson, who splits her time between serving on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and running her own consulting firm, Imark Consulting. e restaurant offers reliable Wi-Fi and large tables, so there is plenty of space to whip out the laptop or look over documents. "I recall several times a co-worker and I had an 'aha' moment for a creative campaign at Zuppas," she says. "It must be the warm pear salad (my favorite) that provides necessary nutrients for brain power. Zuppas has rotating specials every day, so there is always something new to try."
