A new digital application called ClearTREND is now making things interesting for investors both in the professional and personal realm. ClearTREND launched in July, and Microsoft has been working with several northeast Wisconsin companies to get the word out. Appleton Group Wealth Management, Skyline Technologies and Xignite have partnered with the software giant to promote the new mobile investment research app that helps manage investment portfolios. ���ClearTREND is completely northeast Wisconsin-built, and represents a significant leap forward in the field of investment and economic research,��� says Mark Scheffler, inventor of ClearTREND and founder/senior portfolio manager for Appleton Group Wealth Management, which owns the app. Skyline Technologies is the developer of the app. The simple mobile format, which measures historic price trends for over 60,000 investable securities, is easy to use. Packed with powerful reporting tools, the app tells users how likely it is that a recommendation will result in a gain, and how past recommendations have fared. Putting it to the test Andrew Weyker, a certified financial planner for Ameriprise Financial Services in Appleton, says his team has been partnering with the Appleton Group for several years, and is excited to see how the app could be helpful for clients in the future. ���Appleton Group is one of our core holdings, so it was important to us to see how they are using it.
